Los carrizales de la laguna presentan ahora una coloración ocre, en lugar del verde amarillento de meses anteriores, como consecuencia de la llegada de los fríos.
FAUNA: Se mantienen aún unas 50.000 grullas, cada vez más dispersas por la cuenca, buscando los barbechos que quedan sin labrar. Los
agricultores de la cuenca de Gallocanta han comenzado ya la siembra del cereal de ciclo corto, por lo que la superficie de barbecho está disminuyendo.
Han llegado además algunas aves acuáticas invernantes, como los ánades rabudos.
Para visitar los alrededores de la laguna es necesario solicitar previamente una autorización a la Dirección General del Medio Natural, del Gobierno de Aragón, enviando los siguientes datos: Nombre, Dirección, teléfono y DNI del solicitante. Fechas de la visita. Número de personas que participarán.
