Mañanas frescas y días agradables transcurren en la Sierra de Guara que ofrece el espectáculo de la nieve en sus cimas. Por eso, y a pesar de las recientes lluvias, los ríos llevan caudal escaso.
La vegetación se ha quedado en general sin hojas y encontramos los quejigos marcescentes; los madroños están en flor y también tienen algunos frutos.
El movimiento en la fauna es escaso, aunque han comenzados las cópulas y primeras puestas de los quebrantahuesos y buitres.
Se puede practicar la caza en cotos deportivos: la perdiz, el conejo -escaso-, la liebre y el jabalí.
