La climatología invernal ha vuelto también al Parque, con fuertes nevadas y heladas. El peligro de aludes es máximo y ya se han registrado varios, a causa de que ha caído nieve muy gruesa sobre suelo caliente. Se ha cortado la carretera C-139. Las nevadas y el frío han helado muchas yemas de los árboles cuyas hojas comenzaban a despuntar. La floración está empezando en especies como diente de perro, narciso o violetas. Las hepáticas están en plena floración: primero fueron las de color violeta, destacando sobre la nieve. Cuando ésta se va fundiendo, van floreciendo hepáticas blancas sobre el suelo verde.
Una noticia fuera de lo habitual se ha producido la semana pasada en los límites del Parque: se encontró muerto un sarrio macho de unos 12 años, a causa del ataque del perro de un turista visitante.
