Atraviesa el Parque Natural del Posets-Maladeta por el momento cumbre del otoño. Las hojas que aún no han caído están en plena madurez otoñal con toda la gama de naranjas, rojos, pardos y verdes en el fondo de los valles, identidad de hayas, robles, arces, serbales, tilos, fresnos... Las praderas de alta montaña tienen colores pardoamarillentos, con pastizales secos.
Los sarrios están en celo, con el pelaje invernal de los machos ya bien definido, y se ven bandadas de aves en migración hacia el sur, especialmente cardelinas y otros fringílidos. Comienza la caza del sarrio macho para trofeo.
El cielo ha estado despejado, se han producido heladas y se mantiene algo de nieve en las umbrías altas.
